Should I be present during the inspection?
We believe you are best served if the inspector is able to meticulously inspect all components without distraction, however it’s your inspection and you are more than welcome to join if it makes you more comfortable. If you decide not to join for the duration of the inspection we recommend that you come toward the end for a walk-through and overview of the findings. We’ve found the best of both worlds is to have you present in the home to spend more time than open houses and showings allow so that you can take measurements, get to know the house better, and the inspector can point out discoveries as they are found.
